Miracle Monday – Trenton and Mason Ludwig

North Branch twins who once graduated from Hurley NICU are now graduating high school.
2021 Graduating Seniors, Trenton & Mason Ludwig were born at Hurley Medical Center in September of 2002. The twins came into this world at 32 weeks gestation. They would have been born much earlier had it not been for the doctors and staff at Hurley who were able to stop labor when it initially began at 28 weeks.
At birth, Trenton weighed 4lb 2oz and was on a ventilator for his underdeveloped lungs. Mason weighed 3lb 9oz and was healthy, just small. They were cared for in the NICU for 2 ½ weeks before they were able to go home.
Trenton is a very hard worker. When he’s not at work, you can find him in the shop working on his next project. He enjoys buying, fixing and flipping anything that has a motor. He will be graduating high school with honors in the Top 25 of his class at North Branch High School. Trenton will be attending MIAT College of Technology where he will train to be a wind turbine technician.
Mason has been working on an auto racing career since he was 7 years old. He will be graduating from Quest High School North Branch, MI where he studied online due to his racing schedule. Some of you may recognize him as he’s been on the local news multiple times and has a very large following on social media. He is looking forward to what his racing future will hold and is planning on attending NASCAR Technical Institute in the fall.
Congratulations to our miracle graduates!
