Santa Visits NICU

What is Santa doing today? Just before he heads out to deliver toys, he’s making sure our NICU babies get to experience Christmas.

Can you imagine having a new baby you can’t place in your nursery or help open a first present or dress in that cute outfit for family to see? It’s hard. That’s what more than 40 families are facing today as they rely on our NICU to heal their babies so they can go home and become a family.

Santa comes to our NICU so families can at least have a nice photo with him, capturing some of the magic of that first Christmas. Our photographer, Doug Pike, takes beautiful photos for them and it does so much for their morale.

These are the families who allow us to share their beautiful experience. Josh Groban graciously granted us permission to use the song, You Raise Me Up. We hope you watch to see for yourself what a magical place the Hurley NICU can be.
