Music to Our Ears

Music makes the world go round! It also makes a stay at the hospital a little better.

Since the beginning of this year, Music Therapist Lisa Pearson has been using music to help kids at Hurley Children’s Hospital. It makes them happy, brings them comfort, passes the time, engages the family. They might not even realize it – but the music is a therapy that helps them reach their goals in recovery.

Right now, Lisa brings her music to children twice a week. She would love to come more – and we’re working on the funding.

That’s where you come in. This Friday, you can join us for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Bowlathon. It’s a fun night with t-shirts, prizes, pizza and a photo booth. Make it a date night, or night of fun for the family. For just $30 – it’s less expensive than a lot of other activities.
