It’s Children’s Hospitals Week!

Did you know:

• 10 million kids and families are helped by the 170 CMN hospitals each year.
• Hurley was invited to join in 1990 because we provide the most outstanding pediatric care in the region and help regardless of a family’s ability to pay. 
• There are only 4 CMN hospitals in Michigan. 
• Each year 150 babies are born at other hospitals, then transported to Hurley for the care they need. 
• We treated almost 34,000 pediatric patients last year
• 17 kids are receiving active cancer treatments at Hurley on a weekly basis. 
• We provide the best care for children from 15 counties – (Alpena, Alcona, Iosco, Ogemaw, Arenac, Gladwin, Bay, Midland, Isabella, Huron, Tuscola, Saginaw, Gratiot, Shiawassee, Genesee)

CELEBRATE CHILDREN’S HOSPITALS WEEK: April 19-25, 2021

Join us Monday, April 19 thru Friday, April 25, as we celebrate the amazing miracles that happen every day at Hurley Children’s Hospital thanks to the dedicated medical team, Child Life specialists, families, community members and national partners that support our mission of saving children’s lives and giving families hope.

Children’s Hospitals Week is all about helping kids and ensuring children’s hospitals have the funds they need to care for more than 10 million kids a year. Here are a few ways that YOU can help us celebrate:

•  Identify a child or children whom you’d like to honor during this week-long celebration and share their story with anyone who will listen.
•  Write that child’s name on a band-aid and proudly display it for all to see. Send band-aid selfies to bsondge1@hurleymc.com by Wednesday, April 21, for a chance to win some CMN Swag
•  Utilize our Children’s Hospitals Week profile photo frame on Facebook and RSVP to the Facebook Event
•  Share your Hurley miracle story on social media during the week of April 19th using #ChildrensHospitalsWeek.
• Make a tribute donation in honor of your Hurley miracle, or encourage the people in your network to donate in support of Children’s Miracle Network programs at hurleyfoundation.org/donate.
