Happy Birthday Kennedy!

Kennedy Cushman decided to do something special to celebrate her sixth birthday recently. She wanted to raise money to help sick kids at Hurley Children’s Hospital. This effort has special meaning since Kennedy spent her first birthday at Hurley because she experienced a febrile seizure episode.

Fast forward to now! Kennedy did a bottle drive, had a Go Fund Me Page established, asked her family to donate money instead of buying her presents and she even donated $220 of her OWN money!

We were SO excited when we learned that Kennedy had raised $1,000! We created an over sized check for her when we received BREAKING NEWS! She had surpassed that amount and actually donated $1,200 to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at Hurley.

Thank you Kennedy Cushman for being an inspiration to all of us. This world is a much better place because YOU are in it! #It’sAllAboutTheKids!!!!
