Thank You, Walmart and Sam’s Club Miracle Makers for Helping Kids Live Better

This year, Children’s Miracle Network hospitals celebrated 35 years of partnering with Walmart and Sam’s Clubs to help kids, and stores in the Flint-Saginaw-Bay City area showed up in a BIG way.

Together, Walmart and Sam’s Club locations throughout mid-Michigan and the thumb raised more than $138,500 for our pediatric patients and their families here at Hurley.

The Top 3 fundraising Walmart Locations for Hurley Children’s Hospital were:

• Mount Pleasant: $11,372.59
• Fenton: $10,126.21
• Alma: $9,606.19

The Top 3 fundraising Sam’s Club Locations for Hurley Children’s Hospital were:

• Mount Pleasant: $10,632.65
• Flint: $7,764.28
• Grand Blanc: $6,616.20

• Customers were encouraged to purchase root beer floats at Mt. Pleasant Walmart to help the kids

• Associates at Grand Blanc Walmart hosted a snack bar which raised money for CMN

• Walmart in Alma asked customers to vote for their favorite college team by making a donation and hosted a cutest pet contest

• The team at Saginaw Walmart had associates like Ms. Sherry ask customers to donate at the front door
