Greta Van Fleet Fans Rally Around Hurley Kids During Live Streamed Album Release Party
In mid-April, Grammy-award-winning, American rock band, Greta Van Fleet, released their newest album, The Battle at Garden’s Gate.
During a live streamed album release party, hosted by Melissa Hager from YouTube channel Melissa Hager TV, the band members’ parents: Karen and Kelly Kiszka, and Dan and Lori Wagner came together to draw attention to the good work of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals programs at Hurley Children’s Hospital.
The importance of providing quality healthcare to children hits close to home for these families whose boys grew up with a childhood friend that was diagnosed with cancer at a young age.
Fans of Greta Van Fleet joined the parents virtually on Friday, April 16 to celebrate the album, and together raised $10.000 for Hurley kids. The local band from Frankenmuth is known worldwide and has sold over 2 million albums since 2018.
Since 1990, Hurley Children’s Hospital has been designated a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital because of it’s ability to provide the very best care for sick and injured children, regardless of their family’s ability to pay.
We are very grateful to the family and to the ‘peaceful army’ of Greta Van Fleet fans from around the country and the world who came together to make a difference in the lives of children and families throughout mid-Michigan.
