Walmart Academy Graduation Day

On November 3rd, fifty-three associates from the Owosso Walmart graduated from the Walmart Academy. Karisa Sprague (pictured), Senior Vice President, North Central Division and Jim Winkler, Regional General Manager, Region 19 attended. Celeste Beener, store manager, also gave Hurley Children’s Hospital a $2,900 check.

“The efforts of this store are extra special to the team at Hurley Children’s Hospital. One of the young cancer patients at Hurley Children’s is from Owosso and his mom just started as a cashier at the store,” said Angela Kendall.
