Miracle at Speedway Tournament

Miracle Mack wasn’t supposed to be here. Born early, she weighed just 14 ounces. Now she is a healthy 4 year old beauty!

Miracle represented Hurley Children’s Hospital at the Speedway Miracle Tournament. She helped Speedway raise $2.5 million for CMN Hospitals.

She even got John Lauck, President and CEO of CMN Hospitals to donate on the spot!

The incredible experience also brought her a bunch of “firsts.”

She wasn’t so sure stepping onto her first bus ride. But it quickly made her smile.

She didn’t let rain dampen her fun. Miracle was determined to golf – and welcomed help.

Whenever she saw Miracle Family or Miracle Tournament signs, she giggled, thinking they meant her! She is Miracle after all!!

She met new friends, last year’s Hurley Miracle Archer Granger, and Mark Matczak, whose company M.E.M Construction supports our kids.

Miracle and her mom Chambria took to “Mr. Derrick.” Derrik Foward, a project manager with Speedway in Dayton, drove her around in a golf cart. They became fast friends too.

Speedway set up a room for the kids to shop, like its stores. Miracle filled her backpack so full, it almost weighed her down.

She was a beauty at the Speedway photo shoot. Look for Miracle’s smiling face in the fall when you go to Speedway.

Miracle is one smart cookie and sweet as can be. Speedway treats miracle children from around the country like rock stars. The company is also celebrating a big milestone : More than $100-million dollars for CMN Hospitals.

Miracle is an example of how that money is spent. It is used to help children recover, grow and thrive. They may not all have her name, but each one is a miracle, like our little Miracle Mack.
