Isaiah Healing: From Burns to Child Advocate

Isaiah Struck from Bay County was only three years old when he suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his arms, legs and hands during a backyard bonfire “gone wrong.” He was wearing shorts and screamed, “Daddy I’m on fire!”

He was rushed to Hurley where he received excellent care during his two-week inpatient stay in 2010 as well as during his weekly Outpatient Burn Clinic visits.

Thanks to the Jobst Garment pants and glove purchased through the generosity of donors like you, his scarring improved. Today, Isaiah is an advocate for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Hurley.

A former CMN Champion for the state of Michigan, Isaiah is now sharing his inspiring story of recovery with the CMN CEO and Miss America.

We are so proud of the strength Isaiah Struck has shown during recovery, but also his drive to give back. He is making sure donations make miracles happen for other children.
