Back to School – Emergency Card

As kids head back to school, we all want them to be safe. Unfortunately, we see in the news about school shootings. Your child may ever go through crisis training so they know what to do if there is a school shooter. It’s hard to even think about.

Here at Hurley, we want you to know we have your kids’ back. If there is some sort of emergency at your child’s school we want to make sure first responders have the information they need to provide the best care possible. Hurley Children’s Hospital has created a card you can put in your child’s backpack. It has information about you, your child, medical needs and lets them know you want your child to be brought to Hurley for care. Here is a copy for you to print out.
